Celebrating 50 years of the Westover Hills Library 1959-2009

The original Forest Hill Community Library was setup in the basement of the nearby Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. In 1936, it moved to new quarters in the Old Stone House in Forest Hill Park, and in 1943 became an official branch of the Richmond Public Library System. Our community library moved to its permanent home of Westover Hills Boulevard in July 1959.
